FIFA Online 3 was a free-to-play, massively multiplayer online football game. Initially, its gameplay was similar to FIFA 11 but switched to the Impact engine, resembling FIFA 14, in 2015. The game supported online multiplayer play, allowing custom matches of up to 3 players per side. An online transfer market for buying and selling players, a club system, and a premium item shop (using real-world cash) were also available. FIFA Online 3 shut down all services on June 7, 2021.
