Yes, GamerProfiles is free and for everyone, so that every gamer can enjoy the platform and be part of the world’s gamer community. You can be a Gamer Supporter, though, and spend money to directly support creators in the gamer community, while getting special perks at the same time. Gamer Supporter features are optional and don’t affect the regular usage of the platform.
It's easy, free and takes less than a minute!
Log in, click on yourself in the top right corner of your screen and select "Invite Friends to GamerProfiles". Then click to copy your GP Invite Link and share it with your friends. Everyone who signs up with your link will get GP Points, and you will get the same amount as well.
GP Points are a unique currency on GamerProfiles. In the beginning, they will be used to unlock new Profile Icons and customizations, and more spending options will come in the future.
Search Gamers
It's easy! Create an account, and click on “Search Gamers”. Enter a game, filter for gamers you like, and send them a friend request. Make your search as simple or specific as you want! If you have a meaningful profile, you will also get friend requests from others.
It is strongly recommended to update your profile, beforehand. Compatible gamers are more likely to connect with you if you have a high profile value. Why? Because if your profile is empty and meaningless (= low profile value), then you have a low chance that someone will understand what kind of gamer you are and why they should play with you. But if you keep your profile up to date and interesting for other gamers (= high profile value), then your chances are high that someone will want to play with you and thus accept or send a friend request.
When you send someone a friend request, make sure to add a short but clear message why you are adding them.

GamerProfiles shall empower you across all games. Most computer, console and mobile games are supported, especially online games. The GamerProfiles games database is constantly growing (currently over 50,000 unique games) as new games are released as well. If you are missing a game you need, give us feedback to add it.
Game-specific filters are special filter values which only apply to a specific game. You can use game-specific filters in your “Search Gamers” page to better find the gamers you are looking for, or in order to better present yourself in your profile regarding the games you play. While it is helpful for example to select your rank in League of Legends, or your server name in World of Warcraft, these filter values would make no sense for other games. Each game needs their own game-specific filters. Game-specific filters are being added to more and more games over time.
My Profile
In your profile is a section called “My Games”. Simply click on the button there to add a game. Any game and preference you add there can be seen by other gamers, and thus acts as a constant info to attract compatible gaming friends. You can fill in as much or as little info as you like. The more you tell about yourself, the higher the chance that you will find fitting gamers to play with.
Each game is different, and requires different ingame information. Every game has a few common filter values, and some games also have game-specific filters to allow you to describe yourself in the game even better. GamerProfiles is specifically about being connected, playing games and having fun together. Creating an unprejudiced environment where the focus lies on gaming and our gaming lives is another key to the mission. The data within a gamer profile on GamerProfiles is designed to be relevant, simple to use and to enrich our gaming lives. Likewise, all unnecessary data which would become noise in a gaming context is left out on purpose. This allows gamers to decide if they want to play together based on their unique gaming kit (without having to bother with irrelevant details, e.g. where you study, work, or how you look like). That's why the option to upload profile images has been replaced with an ever expanding colorful library of Profile Icons. They can be earned, unlocked with GP Points, or gained as a reward for following or supporting various users or organizations. (While the selection is new and limited yet, it will grow a lot over time!)
In short: Age and gender visibility is protected for users under the age of 16.
Detailed explanation: For safety reasons, the settings for “Show my Age to” and “Show my Gender to” are set to “Only me” as the standard setting for gamers under the age of 16. This means that your age and gender cannot be seen by others, not even by connected friends. Once you turn 16, you will gain the ability to adjust your “Show my Age to” and “Show my Gender to” settings, and define who will be able to see your age and gender anytime.
Everyone on or off GamerProfiles can see your profile. You can share it by clicking on the share button or by copying your profile URL.
Only your connected friends are able to see them, so you don't have to worry about sharing them with strangers.
• Everyone on or off GamerProfiles can see most info in your profile. Some info requires users to be logged in to see (e.g. relative time differences).
• Also, you can adjust several preferences in your settings, such as who should be able to see your age, gender, or country of your usual gaming location.
• Your Game Account IDs and Voice Chats IDs are only visible to your connected friends.
• Your Friend Notes are only visible to you.
• Your private data such as your email address, password and such is not public of course. Only you have access to it.
Social
It's easy. Log into your account, and click on “Search Gamers”. Enter a game, filter for gamers you like, and send them a friend request. You can also click on the “More” Icon with the three dots next to any gamer to open their menu, and select the option to add them as a friend (e.g. on their profile, in the feed, in a channel, etc.).
When you send someone a friend request, make sure to add a short but clear message why you are adding them.
Also, it is strongly recommended to update your profile, before you send someone a friend request. Make sure it has a high value for other gamers.
On the left side of your page is your “Social Hub”. There you can see all your friends and channels. Click on a friend to open the direct chat, or click on a channel to open the channel chat.
If you are using GamerProfiles on your mobile phone, click on the Menu Icon in the top left corner of your screen to open the Social Hub.
You can also start a chat by visiting your friends' profile and clicking on “Message”, or by opening their context menu anywhere else where you see them.
A channel is like a direct chat, but with several people. Look at your Social Hub on the left side of your page and click on “Channels” to view all your active channels. You can create a new channel and invite friends to it by clicking on the + Icon there.
If you are using GamerProfiles on your mobile phone, click on the Menu Icon in the top left corner of your screen to open the Social Hub.
Once you follow someone, you will get updates about that user, e.g. news, profile updates, new posts, etc. You follow your friends already by default, unless you choose to unfollow them actively. Some users (e.g. Grand Gamers) offer rewards (e.g. unique Profile Icons) for following them.
• Posts you create will be sent to your followers.
• If you tag a specific game while writing a post, then everyone who follows that game will see your post as well.
• Anyone can follow you.
• Your friends already follow you by default, unless they choose to unfollow you actively.
• Any person on or off GamerProfiles will be able to see your posts as long as your post audience while writing the post is set to “Everyone”.
• Your posts can be shared by others and thus appear as a link on other sites or in Google search results.
Only Content Creators and Grand Gamers can be supported. After they've been verified, they receive a support button.
Content Creators are creators in the gamer community. Grand Gamer is a title for pro gamers and creators of the highest level and influence. Both are always verified and can be supported on GamerProfiles.
Gamer Supporters
Gamer Supporters support the gamer community and enjoy a wide variety of perks at the same time. You can be a Gamer Supporter, too!
Gamer Supporter is a prestigious rank you are entrusted with as long as you support at least one Grand Gamer. Gamer Supporter features are optional and don’t affect the regular usage of the platform.
Supp-Subs (= Supporter Subscriptions) are the safe and simple way to directly support the Content Creators and Grand Gamers you love. You choose how much and for whom - and you get a ton of special perks on top of doing something good!
GP Partners = Content Creators & Grand Gamers

Settings
A GP Name is your full unique name on GamerProfiles. GP Name = Username + # Number (e.g. John #1234).
Yes. Just go to your account settings to change your name anytime. To limit confusion within your network, though, you may change your name only once every 60 days. Also, be aware that when you change your name, you will receive another random # Number. If you are a Gamer Supporter, you can choose a specific # Number as well, as long as the unique Username + # Number combination is free yet.
To give you the freedom to choose any Username you want. Each user gets a random # Number assigned, from #0000 to #9999. This way, multiple users can have the same Username, while still being unique.
Yes. Be a Gamer Supporter to change your # Number to any number between #0000 and #9999, as long as the unique Username + # Number combination is free yet. Even if you stop being an active Gamer Supporter in the future, your latest # Number will remain yours. Gamer Supporter is a prestigious rank you are entrusted with as long as you support at least one Content Creator or Grand Gamer with an active Supp-Sub. Being a Gamer Supporter gives you many other perks as well, while supporting creators in the gamer community at the same time!
Grand Gamers (= verified pro gamers and gaming content creators on GamerProfiles) have no # Number. Since you won’t find multiple Grand Gamers with the same Username, a # Number would provide no benefit in this case, and is thus left out.
Just go to your account settings, click on the “Delete Account” button and follow the steps.
Currently, GamerProfiles is available in English and German. More languages will be added in the future. Click on your Profile Icon / your Name in the top right corner of the screen to open your menu to change the display language. However, as for your ingame language preferences in your gamer profile you can select any existing language of course!
