God of War: Ghost of Sparta is an action-adventure video game set in ancient Greece, loosely based on Greek mythology. The game follows the protagonist Kratos, the God of War, who is haunted by his mortal past and seeks to explore his origins. In Atlantis, Kratos discovers his brother Deimos is alive and journeys to the Domain of Death to rescue him. After initial resentment, the brothers team up to battle Thanatos, the God of Death, Deimos' captor.
