Star Fox 64 3D is a 3D rail shooter video game for the Nintendo 3DS, and a remake of the 1997 game Star Fox 64 for the Nintendo 64. With a few exceptions, the gameplay in Star Fox 64 3D closely mirrors the original. The story is set in the Lylat system, where mad scientist Andross nearly destroys Corneria and is exiled to Venom. Years later, General Pepper sends Star Fox (James McCloud, Peppy Hare, Pigma Dengar) to investigate. Pigma betrays them, leading to James's presumed death. Now, Fox McCloud and his team must battle Andross to save the galaxy!
